i want to be saved
What does it mean to be saved? According to the book of Romans in the Bible, if you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved.
Perhaps you were once born-again, but you’ve slipped away from a close relationship with God, and you want to recommit your life to Jesus once again. Maybe you’ve never invited Jesus to be the Lord of your life.
Either way, pray this aloud:
“Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart.
Forgive me of my sin, wash me, cleanse me, set me free.
Jesus, thank You that You died for me on the cross and You rose again.
Fill me now with your Holy Spirit.
At this very moment I know that I am saved;
I’m born-again and will follow You all the days of my life.”
